In the late 80s and early 90s there were a lot of big names in the peloton winning Classics – Sean Kelly, Phil Anderson, Gianni Bugno, Eric Vanderaerden… The list goes on. But there was another name: Eric Van Lancker, who popped up and took Liège, Amstel and a clutch of other top results.
