This summer in Rio, she won her third Olympic Gold Medal in the Time Trial— becoming the first cyclist of any gender or nationality to win three successive Olympic gold medals in the same event. Bicycling caught up with her a month after the games to talk about victory, family, and the state of women’s racing.
